Japan Maid Cafes - The Male Version



Tokyo_Otaku_cafe Maid cafes are very popular in Japan. You may not be familiar with the strange and weird coffee drinking custom of this country - But you can simply guess that in this cafes the coffee is served by waitresses that are dressed as maids. If maid cafes are new to you (and even if they don’t) you might be surprised to know that the Japanese have taken it a step ahead. The new trend is drag maid cafes where men are dressed as maids.

They are dressed as women and greet customers as women, but they are not. The cafes can be found in the Akihabara districts in Tokyo – which the technology district. The neighborhood attracts the Japanese otaku, the young people that are admiring anime, manga and video games. And it seems that are willing to pay more for this service.
