Inside the pen you can find a tri-axial sensor that monitors the pen in any direction. A Bluetooth connection between the pen and the computer transmits the movements to the screen. By using Bluetooth, the pen can actually “write” from a distance of 10 meters.

SMK Corp., the company behind the pen claims it is the first wireless pen that can write in the air. Other companies have so far introduced wireless pens that can only write on paper.

SMK corp. showed the new pen in “TEXPO 2008″, an exhibition in Tokyo a couple of days ago. No word on pricing or availably yet.

What’s strange in this story is that the man living in the house, in the southern city of Fukuoka, only got suspicious when he noticed food disappears from his kitchen. He installed security cameras that transmitted images from the house straight to his mobile phone, and noticed a surprising movement after a couple of days.

Speedy policemen that arrived at the house, hoping to catch a burglar, were surprised to find the front door locked and the windows shuttered. Only after a thorough search around, the cops found the woman lying on a small mattress in the closet. She explained the cops that she is homeless and got into the house when it noticed it was unlocked.

The woman admitted to even take showers in the house. It’s weird to see someone that hasn’t noticed such a permanent guest for such a long time. Maybe he was working deadly overtime?

A new robot is supposed to clean urinals. The engineers at Mertec Engineering, the company that brought us this life-changing invention, claim that the robot can save eight liters of water while cleaning urinals. And it does this in only 10 seconds. If you happen to be in Kobe airport, you can watch the invention in action.

The robot is called “DASUBEE” that after the letters DCBA, which are ACBC backwards. The origin for that name is the reverse process which help the robot clean the urinals. No points on copywriting here.

Anyway, If you want it to help you with your cleaning chores, you should prepare to cough up 1,000,000 Yen, which are like $9,600. Let us save you the calculation, you can buy lot’s of brushes and detergent with this kind of money. In the mean time you can relax with a bunch of robots killing each other or some useless robots.
