<p><a href="http://www.japanite.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/paper-airplane-into-space1.jpg"><img style="border-top-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 0px 15px; border-right-width: 0px" src="http://www.japanite.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/paper-airplane-into-space-thumb1.jpg" border="0" alt="Paper_Airplane_into_space" width="257" height="217" align="right" /></a>The Japan space agency (JAXA) teamed up with origami masters, trying to create a paper airplane that will fly into space. Still think it&#8217;s a hoax? The model airplane had already been tested in wind tunnel, like any other airplane.</p>
<p>Problems like tracking the paper airplane in space or when it will land doesn’t bother the space agency. It already promised the developers 300,000 dollars per year for the next three years to continue the research.</p>
<p><span id="more-18"></span></p>
<p>Takuo Toda, the head of the Japan Origami Airplane Association (yes there is such an association) was working on the airplane for 18 months. Wasn’t it simpler just to fly it around the office?</p>
